Technical
diving was brought to Europe at the beginning of
the '90. Before that groups of enthusiasts in America
were trying to find a safe way to dive deeper and
longer, approaching depths that were only reserved
for commercial divers.
Today we can say that technical diving is diving
beyond the limits of recreational diving. These
dives are not necessarily weary deep but can be
for a prolonged period of time, making a decompression
mandatory.
Because the nature can't be fooled, wearies gas
mixes, depending on the depth are used.
This all makes specially equipment, training and
education necessary.
The only guarantee for sucesfuly ending such operations
are, the best equipment money can buy, the best
education and the best mental and physical training.
IANTD
was the first organization that made standards for
technical diving and this was one of the reasons
that our instructors decided to enable themselves
to teach according to this standards.
Technical
diving is and will stay a elite sport. The easiest
way to become a part of it is to get a good education.
TAKE A COURSE DON'T EXPERIMENT, YOUR LIFE DEPEND
ON IT.
