Training's
are taking place every weekend from 4 PM to 5 PM at the
"Tasmajdan" swimming pool. The training is organized by:
Zivojin Stojankic, Aleksandar Ljustina and Milica Tausanovic
From
the weary beginning, for the children form six to fourteen
years of age we organized the "Perajca" section.
In this way we make possible not only for our members
children, but also for all other children to enter the
"Triton" water world. Through various games children learn
to swim and get confident in the water.
The whole program, the exercises and the workouts are
adapted for their age. For us was weary important that
we adapt the program for every child. So if it is necessary
the child goes step by step from learning to swim to more
demanding techniques of swimming and diving. We also make
an introduction to diving equipment in an interesting
and fanny way suitable for their age.
The training starts with a warm up outside the water,
doing exercises that will help the growth and the development
of motoric functions. After the warm-up the children get
into the water and begin with breathing excesses. We make
two groups, one for children that are taking the first
"strokes" in the water, and the other with children that
are already longer with us perfecting their swimming and
diving skills.
The swimming excursus starts with mask and snorkel swimming
with out fins. The distance is app. 200 m. The next exercise
is diving with and with out fins in various stills. After
a max. 25 m dive they swim back, and the exercise starts
from the beginning.

To make the training more interesting for the children we
organize various contests.
Once or twice in the mount the little ones have the opportunity,
under the supervision of their trainer, to try out the SCUBA
equipment For the older ones this is the opportunity to
learn more complicated routines, like donning and doffing
equipment under water.
The exercises start with apnea diving from the surface to
the equipment on the bottom (usually 2.2 m) donning the
equipment and ascend. For those that can easily do this
exercise, the depth is increased to 5 m. The last 15-min.
is for the so-called free activities.
The children usually use this time for jumping from the
edge of the pool or from the 3 m board. All activities are
taking place under a supervision of their trainer.
The goal is that the training has to be interesting and
exciting, but also safe. Sometimes the training begins with
a lesson in diving equipment or just hears interesting stories
about diving. This is all represented to the children in
a propriety way.
