The
Rescue Diver course is designed to develop the necessary
knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively
perform diver rescues and assist, manage diving-accident
situations, render proper first aid and qualify
for PADI Divemaster training.
Student
Pre-Requisites:
Be a PADI AOWD or equivalent diver
Minimum 60 logged dives
Minimum 15 years of age (for students from 12-14
year of age there is the Junior Rescue certification)
Required equipment:
Mask snorkel and fins
Duration
and steps of the course:
10 academic hours
15 practical hours
Qualification
of graduates:
Assisting divers
Manage diving-accident situations
