We organized the Maj excursion 2003. again in Petrovac. A pictures town of Petrovac with his kind citizens and beautiful diving sites once again become our diving base.
At Saturday morning Vlatko and Mirko meet the members of the club at the railway station in Sutomore.

After a short break the first group started kiting up for the dive.
It is usual that the first dive to be a beach dive. This is the opportunity to have the balance sorted out, and to get used to the new eviroment.

The afternoon dive was done from the boat. The water conditions were terrific, so this dive was a real enjoyment for the novice divers. In the shelter of the little island in front of Petrovac this dive made us to leave all other problems in Belgrade.

The evenings we spent at the local cafe. We also had the opportunity to watch on TV the interviewees that the members of the Triton diving team gave for TV Budva about the shooting of the film "The Giant at the bottom of the sea-Mission Zenta".
This film was awarded as the best film at the Belgrade film festival.

We were not always lucky with the weather. But this was not a reason not to dive.

The more experienced divers from the club, had the opportunity to dive on the legendary wrack "Zenta" near Petrovac. Carrying the heavy equipment made us quickly forget our wet diving suits an the fact that it is only 4 am. The dive went OK and later we were lively discussing what we saw, and what a problem must have been to shoot at film at this depths.

The members of the Triton diving team also took the instructors from other diving clubs to dive the wrack. This was the opportunity for them to get an idea what the triton diving team is doing.

Once this excursion had to end. The memory of the clear deep blue water, the sun and good company stays and makes us hope that a new excursion will be soon.
